Lyn Mar Pond Ranch, Yosemite, CA

Lyn-Mar Pond Guest Ranch near Yosemite is an ideal vacation home 30 minutes away from the Yosemite park gate. It is located in North Fork, the "exact center" of California, surrounded by the Sierra National Forest. The place offers an excellent home base retreat. This guest ranch is nestled on 40 acres of private property, surrounded by a wooded and nicely landscaped setting to enhance nature's own beautiful wildflowers, melodic songbirds and serene mountain views. You can relax after a full day of activities in this fully equipped and comfortably furnished facility.

We were treated to the most idyllic stay that we could have wished for during this Christmas break. As an ideal place with absolute privacy, Lyn-Mar Pond Guest Ranch fitted our requirements perfectly. This beautiful ranch is set in the most picturesque and peaceful setting and abounds with a great variety of wildlife. This vacation home will stay in our memories for a while as it was a great place to stay. It had an amazing view of the mountain from the backyard. We went walking around the ranch and Snert (the ranch dog) kept us company. The kids enjoyed the company of the dog. There was a nice craw foot bath tub for smaller kids to get themselves soaked. This is a very family friendly place to stay.

During our stay we went to snow play area just before the Yosemite Valley gate which was about 30 minutes drive from the vacation home. On the last day we went to the Yosemite Valley to view the beauty of the lower and upper falls. After enjoying the world third tallest falls, we started our journey back to the Bay Area. All trips will have a highlight, and for us the trip back from Yosemite Valley after 6:00PM to bay area was the highlight due to the challenges we had like snow, fog, narrow road, mountain, zero visibility and what else?
